This functional, modern kitchen with its neutral colour palette and streamlined cabinetry enhances the apartments ambience and allows the waterfront views to shine.

Situated centrally in a waterfront apartment with views on both sides, the challenge was to create a sleek, minimalistic, modern kitchen, with plenty of storage, that did not hinder the views.

The kitchen design incorporates space for not only all the standard appliances, including a fully integrated dishwasher, microwave nook and a double stainless steel sink but it also includes under-sink drawers, pull-out waste system, full height pantry with internal drawers and baskets, and more storage cabinets on the outside of the island bench. Some of the large pot drawers have hidden internal drawers for storage of utensils and smaller items.  Internal drawers are the perfect option where creating a sleek, modern, uncluttered design is desired.

Cabinets are in a two-pack polyurethane paint finish and have custom routed handles to the clients’ specifications with 20mm 'Caesarstone' benchtops.  Both island cabinet runs include power points, a necessity in this style of kitchen.

This modern kitchen combines practicality and functionality with elegance and style.  A well thought out design achieving a streamlined look.
